Turkey Brie Melt

Ingredients

  • 12 slices Sourdough Bread — 2 oz. each
  • 2 1/4 lbs. Perdue® Slicing Turkey Breast — thinly sliced
  • 48 Fresh Basil leaves
  • 24 slices Tomato — 1/4 inch thick
  • 1 1/2 lbs. Brie Cheese — sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • 12 Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 1/2 c. Olive Oil — as needed

Instructions

  1. For each sandwich, brush one slice of bread with olive oil; broil until lightly browned.
  2. Top each slice of bread with 3 ounces of turkey, 4 basil leaves, 2 slices of tomato, and 2 ounces of the sliced brie.
  3. Place under broiler until cheese is melted.
  4. Garnish with fresh basil; serve immediately.
