Thai Style Spicy Turkey Lettuce Wraps

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 2 tbsp. ground chili powder
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. ground oregano
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dried diced onion
  • 1/4 tsp. dried diced garlic
  • 1 large onion — peeled and sliced into strips
  • 4 cloves Garlic — peeled and chopped fine
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 6 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 6 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
  • 1 spring onion — chopped fine
  • 1 pinch Cracked black pepper
  • 4 Large Green leaf lettuce leaves
  • 4 Large Bibb lettuce leaves


  1. In a medium pan, heat the 1 tbsp. olive oil, and start to cook the ground Turkey. Add all of the seasoning as it is cooking. Reserve when finished.
  2. Mix onions and garlic with the olive oil and roast in a 375-degree oven until brown and tender.
  3. For the dipping sauce, mix the vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, spring onions, and the black pepper together.
  4. Serve all items on large platter with the lettuce leaves.
  5. Using the lettuce leaves, place some of each item on to the leaf and wrap, dipping in Sauce. Sauce can be spiced up with a pepper paste.
